Activists of the Ukrainian women's movement FEMEN held a rally near the KGB building in Minsk on December 19. The action is timed to the anniversary of the 2010 presidential election and the events in their aftermath, in particular, the opposition protest actions and mayhem by the Government House in Minsk.

What is more, there were mustaches painted on the girls' faces, as well as a picture of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the back of one of the activists. The girls shouted: "Long Live Belarus!"
Shortly after the beginning of the action, security came from the KGB building and arrested the videographer of "Nasha Niva," Tatiana Havrilchyk, freelance photographer Julia Doroshkevich and another journalist, whose name is unknown.
The Ukrainian activists managed to escape, reports " not to come to Minsk on December 19. The leader of the Ukrainian feminist movement, Anna Gutsol, reported that the girls had refused to come to Minsk after an interview with ex-President of the Supreme Soviet of Belarus Stanislav Shushkevich.
"We asked him about the situation in Belarus and decided not to risk the health and freedom of our activists. Stanislav Shushkevich said he had seen young and beautiful women in Minsk beaten and maimed at rallies," said FEMEN leader Anna Gutsol.
Instead, the girls are going to hold a rally on December 19 in Kiev, near the Belarusian embassy. Anna Gutsol also stated that the action might take place on Independence Square.
